Spreading Phlox

Five petaled flowers:
spreading phlox, feed for early
out queen bumblebee.

Joyful clumps of color
spread across the dry hillsides,
all summer we see.

I love these colorful phlox all along the hillsides. I love that they arrive early for the bumblebees. I love that they arrive in many colors. They are joy.
