Amazing Earth

On our walk this morning I paused on the way home to the vivid greenery and stormy sky surrounding Grand Coulee Dam on the Columbia River. As an engineering marvel, it is still humbled by nature, by earth’s flora fed this day by the rain of a weather system. Though humans create imaginative solutions, they must function within the integrated systems of earth’s nature. Hopefully, we will strive as “Earth’s crew” to create solutions for our survival on this blue planet.

Colossal structures,
