Half Mast

Today, still sad and disheartened at the insurrection on January 6th, I found more sadness, yet some solace in the flag flying at half mast in honor of those police who died defending the Congress as they conducted the people’s business.

They protected those

doing the people’s work; now

flags fly at half mast.
