After the Rainbow

Big Sky Double Rainbow

Still the storm closed in

Sky lit with lightning

Slamming heaven down

Danger! Danger!

Coming danger!

Neighborly townsfolk

invite us in, protection 

from the passing storm;

Perhaps the heavens

rained this warning:

stay neighbors 

when storms danger 

warns our nation’s

fragile tale.
