Stone’s Throw
Stone’s Throw
A stone’s throw
Across the lake,
Clouds fall
Over the edge,
Waves of the sky,
On currents felt
As cold November wind
On the spot
Ben and Grampa once
Skipped flat, rounded rocks
With a flick of the wrist
To many challenges of
A stone’s throw.
