In the Moment

In the Moment

Letting go to rest

Preparing for the cold

Standing naked in the sun

Among the fallen that was, once;

Once, but now a softness

Cuddling the soil— just

Follow sun and shadows

On the yellows of this blanket

Surrounding that which let them go

Settling into the moment’s magic

Warming soil and human hearts-

And maybe in that moment

See the fairies’ light and dance.
