I Saw Them

I Saw Them

I did.

I saw them.

I saw them sparkling

To hide

A dirt path

Along a rock wall

Over a small bridge

Over the creek

At the edge of the meadow

Just north of the village

And all along the boundary of trees

Once hiding it—

There, at the tops,

Fairies danced.
