If I Were A Tree
If I Were A Tree
If I were a tree
I’d be a canopy
Of coolness in summer
Bearing fruit for
Fall harvest
And always a home
For critters
Large and small,
Graceful arms
Reaching high
All year long
To reach the sunshine
And spread good wishes
And hope to all each day
Through my breath of
Life-giving fresh air.
