We Are Dreamers

Eyes forward, in hope, dreaming

From our birth, eyes open, dreamers

For the future, with hope, scheming,

All the world, all the people, past survival

Interacting, intermingling, interfering, some seeming

as interloping, tearing apart, bearing terror:

peace and visions vanquished; dreams emerge beaming

streaming together with care exuding: dreamers

Renewed:  Eyes forward, for hope, dreaming.
