Along the road
Among the lupine
A reminder is told.

Watching the road
Imagining your day
Nodding at scenery
The reminder dares say

"Remember me
Carry me on
Acknowledge my life
While you drive on

Drive on safely
Drive down the road
Acknowledge my life
This moment; this road."


Sadly, I pass five of these on my way to/from work; all alcohol related deaths; all people I know. They speak a reminder as I pass. Mon 6/20
