Changes

I was one of the last people to leave school today, the last day of school. I looked back at my classroom door and sighed, rather sad I was alone, and knowing I have more work to do. Then from over the red roof zipped this swallowtail butterfly, landing on the colorful pinks in the window garden, sipping nectar from several flowers, and pausing long enough to pose for this picture. Last, but not least: my gift for today. Thank you, nature.
