Serenity on the Lake
Serenity
a ripple of a breeze
water like glass
gentle lap, lapping of the lake
on our small boat
as we slide slowly along
in calm stillness
a placid speck
in the cloudy mirror
of grey sky
rounded hills
a lake view
from the distant shore.
