Two Little Devils
Two Little Devils
They saw me—
Rushed down the sidewalk
Not graceful, like a cat,
Just scurrying fur bundles
Waddling up the wide maple
Arms wide, claws digging in
One after the other
and in a flash
turning around,
lying flat
bandits watching
peeking down,
“What? Who? Me?
Just hangin’.”
