The Rumble

Rumbling startles;

Look out the window

See

Storm clouds gather

Filled with an angry god

Pounding his drum

Whose partner shows his prowess

Throwing fire spears 

To earth

Laughing at its sparks

Spreading fires 

Across those lands

The earthlings did not nurture

As they should,

Leaving their home,

Their planet

To be ravaged

By a climate

In which the flora and fauna

Cannot survive;

The gods sing

In sorrow,

The melody

Falls with the pounding rain.
