TESTS
Tests, like lockers
numbered in perfect rows,
an order defined
to contain and conform
standards to manage
perfect systems locked
in a box, wrapped with a label
that stables minds.
But under that cover
of slammed shut doors
find a fable reflected,
find inside portraits of stickers,
notes, and pictures,
personalities and talents
displayed inside to defy
the boxed boundaries,
and jam out genius hidden within
lockers, unlike tests.
