Colors of Earth

Do you ever wonder

If the colors on the earth— 

the every day ones 

of planted yards—

blushing pink 

graceful green 

against the bold blue sky 

on a May Hawthorn tree—

exist anywhere else 

in the universe? 

Or do we need 

to protect the colors 

of the flora and fauna 

of nature’s gifts to us?
