United Again — Will we?

Disparage us

Despise us

Decry us

Point your screaming,

demeaning insinuations

of deceit… 

Wait, we will—

Pause, we will—

As your anger spills

at exposed shills

who fed your fears

for years and years

against unknown others

and your neighbors

so you forgot

we all sought

and still we seek

in all we speak

the same as you

“we the people” do

in our lives pursue

life

liberty

happiness

beside you

with you

in togetherness

we all can

as Americans

united,

again.
