Blueberry Blitzens

A family tradition

Ingredients: just a few:

a bit of flour, pinch of salt

pad of butter: 2:1 of eggs to milk

Mix them up, smooth as silk;

Around the fry pan-let’s begin—

Spread some batter very thin

As the edges start turning in

Flip the crepe to brown again;

Plop it on a plate while warm

Spread sour cream all around

Top with blueberries all across

A bit of sugar then you’ll toss;

Now- roll it up, smile and sigh:

Take a bite; “Divine!” you’ll cry!

That’s the way to bring a smile:

Crepes you’ve made: Blitzen style!
