Tinkling Roses

Tinkling Roses

In the shards of ice upon the lake

flowing, undulating in waves of sunlit sparkles,

diamonds of winter flow and swirl

into rosettes of polygon petals

ever tinkling with each ebb and flow,

answering the call of the raven.

As the ice retreats and breaks up on Banks Lake, we discover its beauty sparkling in shards, swirling into small rosettes of polygon petals floating, flowing.
