Found Family Fun
Empty tables in
the park; grey, silent skies; a
bench hold the prizes.

and another for a two-week poem post.
On my walk
Somehow the grey and silent skies hold us back;
Sometimes just noticing small things help us find our own sunshine,
Like the left behind collections of rocks and acorn caps found on a park bench,
A hello from someone on this grey day leaving sunshine for others.
And a toy to make from Acorn Caps— I haven’t tried it. I wonder if it works?
