Cycles

Flowers cycle
through their growth
of sprout and bud and bloom
in the cycle of seasons
each with cycles of their own,
and we cycle
through our growth
in our words,
our ways, and our wisdom
in a cycle of living,
and like the burst of color
in the flowers of spring,
we add a burst of hope
in stories of our lives.
