Within a hint of reflected sunlight

As seaweed swirls around

In a tangle of something

Dropped, plopped

And bobbing just beneath

The ocean’s surface,

A good-bye perhaps,

A mistaken mishap,

A wish, A hope,

Now a drifting story

Waiting, wandering

For discovery.
