Fantasy Band

This was so much fun. I know exactly who would be in my band and what they would sing for the world, for world peace. I know they would be songs that called for liberty and justice for all, including separation of church and state -- no one religion, and no negative feelings for those who choose not to believe. 

I know these songs would spread around the world for governments that are of the people, by the people and for the people. Crowds would march in the streets, arm in arm -- no matter their color or gender identity or religion or political leaning -- we can all accept each other and work out liberty and justice for all.

Do this, we can.

Accept this, we must.

Refuse this, we die.

All it takes is just a little shift in thoughts, a shift in acceptance, rather than rather than rejection based on bias, beliefs, traditions, identities, perceptions.  Accept and listen and learn and work together in this acceptance of others. It's a small shift and our children will have a better world.
