light around abounds,

shine and shadow; like time

it continues on.

light in dark and bright

in shine and shadow; provides

natures camouflage 

light so bright it blinds

finds itself stopped behind spots;

small leaves, show their strength.

in water light plays,

captured in drops, it captures

all the world around

uplift from fire's flames 

flow fragments of ash, dispersed,

smothering the sun
